CSE 1321 - Programming Problem Solving I |
This course provides an introduction to computing with a focus on object-oriented programming, problem-solving, and algorithm development. Particular topics include primitive data types, arithmetic and logical operators, interactive user input, selection and repetition structures, methods and functions, object-oriented design and programming, single- and multi-dimensional arrays, and searching and sorting algorithms. Techniques of good programming style, including proper documentation, are discussed. Students are taught to efficiently design, code, and debug problem solutions.
